Encouraging children and youth to read by organizing meetings with Bulgarian writers living and writing in America. Reading parallel texts in English and Bulgarian of these authors.

Mickey Mouse Club for children from 1st to 4th grade
In this club, children have the opportunity to draw on specific topics including typical American symbols such as the American Flag, favorite film characters such as Mickey Mouse, favorite foods such as Burger, Hot Dog and Shake, favorite American holidays such as Valentine's Day and Halloween by learning new English words, phrases and verses, participate in the entertaining Trace Effects game, get acquainted with the extremely useful and entertaining program of National Geographic Kids, embarking on an exciting adventure in the world of American culture and history.

Film Club 40 min screening tour of the United States with a discussion or a retelling.

"Work and Travel" club – a platform for everyone who has participated or wishes to participate in an exchange program. Discussions, stories, sharing experiences, opinions, tips and recommendations. Education USA everything in the field of education schools, universities, ways of applying, tools, materials and resources - guides, books, courses, applications, exams, useful sites and libraries, scholarships, programs, postgraduate qualifications in the United States and the application process for financial assistance, exchange of experience, teacher-student relationship, student educators, enriching the common culture and knowledge of American education.
Seminar for Teachers in English to learn about language learning materials at the American Center and the ideas and resources presented on the American English resource center website. Conducting joint multimedia lessons with different language schools in Plovdiv on different topics such as culture, traditions and holidays.
Lectures and presentations on American culture by lecturers from the University of Plovdiv together with the American Center of the University.

Discussion clubs with English education centers. Teachers can teach their English lessons by linking them thematicly with the United States and discussing different themes from their history, culture, business and education.

Library Club – students, library members from different schools can discuss books by American authors. They have the opportunity to watch documentaries that they can then discuss or re-tell or discuss their post-school education, as well as different ways and resources to improve English learning, write stories, texts and poems in English on specific topics. They can read and discuss articles from American magazines, learn to use eLIBRARYUSA's vast resources, participate in various workshop programs to create and maintain blogs, discuss American festivals, films, music and exhibitions.

Interactions with U.S. Participants Government Exchange or Afternoon Inter-Language Exchange, during which Bulgarians meet with Americans to improve their language skills. Bulgarians speak in English and Americans in Bulgarian. A great opportunity for practicing and improving linguistic abilities, as well as raising the level of knowledge and general culture.

Literary Club, where participants have the opportunity to engage in writing stories, essays and poems in English on selected themes or on topics related to film, book, photography or painting.

The Center works in close collaboration with the Department of American Studies, Linguistics and the American Center of Plovdiv University as well as with volunteers: teachers, high school students, students, Fulbright scholars and other State Department programs scholars, librarians, members of the public organizations, young people who have lived or live in the United States, etc.
