READING ROOMS

Reading room No. 1 “Philological, social, natural, exact and applied sciences” is located on the second floor of the Library. It is situated in two transitional rooms. There are 80 reading seats. Users have access to literature from all areas of knowledge – humanities, economics, law, history, geography, journalism, medicine, exact and applied sciences. The reading room has a rich reference and vocabulary fund. There is a special place in which specialized periodicals are presented in Bulgarian and foreign languages.
Reading room No. 1 provides the opportunity to use: a ready to use fund presented on site; books and periodicals from a storage that can be claimed at the Desk for Acceptance of Orders or online; reference service.
Reading Room No. 1 has a format scanner. It offers the ability to scan portions of library documents.
Reading Room No. 1 features automated remote access and scientifically accessible databases; offers free Wi-Fi access.

Users can use the current periodicals of Bulgarian and foreign titles by subscription, in Reading room №3, located in the premises of the Public Information Center.
